The people behind Hertford Studios
Hertford Studios is run by husband-and-wife team Rob and Charmaine, who have been together for over two decades and are the proud parents of two amazing teenagers.
Rob is a commercial photographer with over 15 years' experience, working across photography and video for businesses, brands and organisations. Charmaine spent 15 years working in marketing before joining Rob to help grow the photography and videography business.
It started with a simple frustration
The concept of Hertford Studios emerged from a simple frustration: finding a professional creative space outside London wasn't as easy as it should have been.
We regularly found ourselves widening our search or travelling into London, often facing higher hire costs, complicated logistics, parking and the general hassle that comes with producing a shoot in the capital.
We started to wonder, if we were finding this frustrating, how many other photographers, brands, agencies and creative teams were too?
So we decided to create the space we'd always wanted to use ourselves.
Built to make creating easier
Today, Hertford Studios is a 3,000 sq ft professional content studio designed for brands, businesses, agencies, photographers, production teams and talent.
It's a space built to make creating great content easier — from our Infinity Cove and lifestyle sets to private parking, ground-floor access and the flexibility to bring your own team and production.
We're proud to offer the professionalism and facilities you'd expect from a London studio, without the London logistics.
